Super Moon !

Any one get a shot of the moon ? A little grainy with my phone but took this pic heading out the gate to go to work this morning ..
It was definitely big and bright !!

I'm usually out the gate between 5:30 and 6:00 am ...

We finally got a chance to see it tonight. Been cloudy the last few nights.

Noticeably bigger and brighter than usual!

Before I retired I use to be on the job at 4.30 am or home by same ,12 hour shifts.

We should be all over that moon mining and living by now. Instead it was bypassed for far away Mars. Mars may be better for living but the Moon would have been good practice. I have read where there is money to be made in Mining the moon. Good supply of what we need. If it just had some Lakes

When you stop and really think about our Moon and how it effects our Earth, it seems interesting how such things interact with each other. If it weren't for the our Moon, we wouldn't have any waves or changing tides. And that action leads to so many possibilities we can harness. The Moon absolutely effects everybody's life here on Earth. And it is amazing to see, especially when it is this close. Great pictures all! :thumb:

Thanks phelps! I purposely over exposed it slightly to capture as much brightness as I could. That's why the formations aren't darker/sharper......
