I have a chance to get on my hands on a '86 140H Johnson and a 17' Glastron boat. The boat is in the water and sunk from the rain a couple of months ago. The guy got it afloat again, put oil in the cylinders and said it turned over. It has a new lower unit as well. As far as the hull he said its pretty much gone.

Is this motor worth anything? Can a motor be in salt water ever be any good again? I would obtain it only for resale, it is being given to me.

Thats a great link, thank you!

I would be selling it in order to raise funds for a nonprofit. So coming up with a value is my next challenge.
