Anybody out there having much luck with blacks?<br />I fish Ray Roberts and Texoma and they've been real slow (as usual this time of year). My best results lately have been carolina rigs 15'-20'

At Ray Roberts, I like to jig for them in the trees near the rail road tracks, north of the Pilot Point launch. I use a pig and jig, or a 4" shiner. I have also had good luck on a char. spinner with double willow, in the early morning, and late afternoon.

Here in southeast Pa. I have been on them early in the morning around sunup with jointed rappala swiming it about three inch's deep just above the weeds. Once the sun is up its senko's texas rigged around outside weed edges or in holes in the milfoil, also do well with shad rap in 10 to 12 feet of water during the heat of the day.
