Well, I finally called it quits on the season. We took a last trip on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, heading downriver for lunch in Alexandria Bay. It was cold & overcast, with just a hint of flurries, but the River was calm and we dressed for the cold. I made sure to completely soak in the moment, as it'll have to last me until Spring...

I spent Sunday morning hoisting the boat up in the boathouse, thus ending our first year with the 18-foot Starcraft American that I finished rebuilding back in June. Absolutely love the boat!

Also yanked the 14-foot tinnie up onto shore and rolled it over for the winter. For the first time since early April I don't have a boat in the water...

Up here in Northern California its cold at nights but not that cold during daytime to still go out and do some fishin'. Today it's in the 50's and had one day of rain a couple of days ago within the past two months.
