Suggestions on a new winch.

I have a aluminum 1981 Starcraft Super Sport on a tilt trailer with a 75hp Chrysler outboard and the winch is toast. I think the boat with motor and gear weighs around 1200 lbs. My two questions are does the weight sound about right on the boat, and if so what would be a good replacement winch for my trailer? Not trying to overthink this like I usually do, but between iboats, and a couple of local places not sure what winch I should get.

The bigger the better within reason

A 2k winch wouldn't hurt a thing

I've found a couple of nice ones rated at 2500 lbs. I think I'll go with one of them. Thanks for the reply smoke.
