Stuck Tachometer

I have a 2002 3.0l volvo penta, I blew the upper hose to the themostat causing the alarm to go off and the engine to over heat. I replaced the upper hose and everything seems to be working OK ecept the Tach. The tachometer is stuck at around the 3000 rpm mark. Does any one have any suggestions.

Ayuh,... Welcome Aboard,...... New tach,..??...

Any wirin' disturbed durin' the hose fix,..??

Thanks for the welcome,
I don't believe any of the wireing was disturbed. The tach was stuck before I shut the engine down and replaced the main cooling hose.
