stuck open thermostat?

My new 3.0, new to me, seems to be running cold? I've had it out at the lake 3 times or so, about 1 1/2 hour each time. The temp gauge never seems to move. However on ear muffs it does, it doesn't get much past 120 (in about 10 min).

Think its stuck open? I'll say that lake water was about 40 degrees.

Just ordered the new Tstat and the gaskets to replace it

Spray the bolts with WD40(or similar) now so it has time to creep before you go at it with the wrench.

I'm probably going to change it anyway but it appears to be acting normal now. I had to run it for 20 min today on the muffs while I changed some other gaskets and bellows. It got to 140 and stabalized there...I dunno...
