Stuck LU...Use Bigger Hammer?

Before I do something stupid and break something...are there any secrets to removing a stuck lower unit?

Dealing with a Tohatsu 90 TLDI...removed the 6 bolts, and shift linkage pin. I can get movement at front (non-prop) end of LU but back end not budging...one rear (larger than fwd 2) bolt had corrosion on it.

Have hit w/heat gun, dosed w/Liquid Wrench...given some "love taps" with hammer thru 2x4 on top of cav plate, nothing
What am I missing?

Going to go have a beer to cool off temper and internal temp, thanks!

Probably the splines are stuck in the crank shaft. Use wedges, patience, and time. When reassembling, grease the drive shaft splines.
