Had water in block and had head/exhaust magnafluxed and pressure tested. Everything looked good so put it back together. Ran 30+ hours with no problem then block full of water again. Tore it down myself this time and water in #4 cylinder on my GM 4 cylinder. The intake valve in this cylinder was stuck open but with little pressure popped right back. Could this be the problem or is it just a result of water in the cylinder? Going to have the head checked again for cracks but sure am getting dissapointed. At least it shouldn't cost me 900 dollars this time to do this.

I had a friend that got water in his motor because the flaps on the exhaust didn't shut quickly enough, you might check that. Make sure head gasket is toqued right in right sequence, b/c a break could let water in from jackets. I think that you would be able to see a crack in the heads that would fill an engine up with water. I would guess water caused valve to stick, but if engine is full of water, it shouldn't be hard to find the prob. Let me know how it turns out<br />GL
