Hey fish. stick with one post. Don't add with different problems with the same motor.

Thanks sunfish. At least you answered my question.

I have already rebuilt the carb. It runs now when I put gas directly into the carb but it will not get a continuous flow. Maybe an air leak in the gas line? I can get it running for a second or two but once the gas is out it kills.

Thanks

Don't push on it. The needle and seats on some carbs are very pressure sensitive, and some sprays can damage them.

Is the fuel clean and fresh? Rust and dirt in the fuel will stick a needle in a heart beat.

When it's close to stalling pump the prinmer bulb quickly and see if it stays running. If it stays running its something between fuel pump and fuel pick up tube. What engine is this?
