94 Searay Mercurser inboard outboard drive, Quicksilver Throttle.
The boat shifts into reverse, into neutral, into drive. In drive, below 2000 RPM no issues, I have neutral, reverser, FWD. When I went to get on plane she got suck in gear going 25 mph, I could move the throttle down, faster but could not pull her back, a hard stop at 25 mph, not good, had to turn the key off to stop her. Opened the engine cover, removed the pin holding the ship cables, then the throttle went back into neutral. Reinstalled the pin, no issues fired up, got back to the dock and on the trailer in and out of neutral and reverse, no issues.
Got home and same issue with engine off past 1/3 throttle position she is stuck in gear again, a hard stop.
Any ideas?
