I don't know about TX, but I live in the Virginia Beach, VA area and throw the Rebel Wincheater at them. Hook up every single cast from October to November. 18-36" range.

I am sure this bait will work for you. If they are not schoolies, then big menhagen or minnows will work off a split sinker setup. Leave at leave 2-3 feet of line out where you attach your hook.

GO get um

heya dt,i like to travel for good fish too.i grew up on texoma running the banks for sandies, striper,&bass.i start in march and fish a chrome/black hellcat(super rogues, paint the undernose red),with a abu5500/6500c3,all-star 6'6 all year long.tip-it,tap-it,rip-it.you cant go wrong.go to a woodchopper when they break top at 530 am and stop your heart.youll soon learn to repaint&repair your own lures or go broke.if you need a break-down of the lake email me at jeb873@hotmail.ps if you have to baitfish.threadfin bro... :p
