Re: Striper heaven
Alright, using 6 1/2 foot rods, 12 pound test. We jigged up live mackerel and floated them under balloons. We had a good chum slick going to keep the schools of macks around and the stripers were right below the macks. Light line stripers are a blast, they take tons of drag and it actually forces you to play the fish out instead of horsing them right in.

Capt. Pat is THE MAN, good guy and has a tremendous amount of knowledge and always puts us on big fish. (kinda think he likes us cause we brought a couple girls on a bluefish trip a couple years ago, and he was hot for a couple of them
). I would recommend him in a heartbeat. The name of the boat is the TAUNTINE out of Rye Harbor, NH. He has a website, but it isn't on any search engines. I'll give him a call and get it this week.

Dingbat I work for Beede Instruments. If you have called the factory for technical assistance I am sure you talked to me (hope I helped you
). The softball team is doing OK. We are 4-3, lost a tough game last night 3-1 (I scored our only run on a homer, which gives me the league lead right now
)
