Hay guys and gails,<br /> well dad and I are going to rip up the soft floor on our 17' gradywhite... after what I read here I realized we may have to replace the stringers.... its a fiborblass boat what materials do we use and how do they atach to the hull? is there a right way and a wrong way? I've never seen a stringer( except with fish on it, but we catch and release anyways!) any web sights or personal experience and know how would be great! for the difficulty of the job dad used to be a carpenter and I'm a union electrician so we have enough skill i think to tackle the job.... but have never done anything on a boat ....thanks in advance for your postings
