Stringer Swap For A Cobra

Can you interchange the Cobra models w/ a Stringer 800? If so How diff? I mean can I just change the Outdrive? Thanks

To switch to a Cobra drive, you will need to fill in the hole in the transom and re-cut for the Cobra. You will also need to get a transom assembly, drive coupler and flywheel housing. If you go that route, go for a Volvo SX drive.

Nope, nothing is the same but the engine block.

Updating a Stringer is a Major Refit,...... Regardless of What you want to put back in..........
And,.......
Up dating to another OMC,....... Well,... It just Isn't Up dating a Thing.......
