I'm rebuilding my 76 stringer electric shift and decided to rebuild the hydraulic trim system. I'm having difficulty finding any of the seals. Is there a rebuild kit available that includes all gaskets and seals?

Thanks

all the seals are available from any Evinrude dealer. They don't have kits, but the individual parts are available. shop.evinrude.com - go to parts, then dropdown the menu to sterndrive and you should be able to look up all part numbers.

years ago, I crossed the parts at a hydraulic seal place (Hercules in Barrie, ON), and I made up some kits and sold them on eBay, but the savings weren't enough to warrant all the work to cross reference for one boat. They were a pain to deal with too - not set up for dealing with individual customers.

dealing with people on eBay was worse, so I quit making the kits up. I think it's around $140 for all the seals from BRP (Evinrude)

Thanks for the evinrude search info. I was recently pointed to the sight, and found the stern drive part I needed, but couldn't find trim parts. I spent a little more time this morning and found trim parts but unsure what model I have. I guess I will do a little more digging.

they're usually under "engine mount group with selectrim" or something like that in the subcategories, once you figure out what model.
Then you'll have to compare the pics to what you have... trim wasn't a popular option in 76, you might have a system added by someone from another OMC - there were a few different styles
