This is the display I get. It doesn't matter what page I am on it's the same. I'm using Firefox 30.0 but it does the same with Chrome. Is this something I can fix at my end or is it a forum problem? I also don't have a "todays posts" button any more.

Dawg - It's not you or on your end. The IT guys are working of fixing some of the problems and a few droppings have been left over. Hopefully they finish sweeping up soon. When the "New Topics" isn't on the blue bar, it has been toward the bottom of the page. On this page, Home and New Topics are under the message box and to the left. The other pages are about the same - Toward the bottom of most pages under a new topics list and so on.

I'm using Firefox as well. Every time I click on a new screen this stupid Navigation Menu pops up and then it takes about 2 minutes for the page that I clicked on to load. REALLY,REALLY frustrating. With all the problems I have encountered since the upgrade, and there have been many, I haven't been on much. Just too aggravating. Hope it's ALL fixed soon.

It looks like one of the things that is causing the very slow load times, is the fact it seems to be pulling from a database located on an in house server, in looking at the connection when trying to load the page, it is pulling from local.iboats.com, which is how I set up my server to pull when I am troubleshooting something, if this is the case, the load times are going to depend on how many requests that server is receiving as well as how fast their internet connection i and if it is being affected by the regular iboats website that does the sales.

Windows PCs seem the be the most affected during page loading. Linux (Ubuntu) PCs, tablets, and from comments in the Forum, are as responsive as always. No matter what platform, the page headers are all jumbled.

I checked on my Linux machine it is the same, now as Windows is still the prevalent OS out there, it needs to work for windows PC's

I don't know, MT, except Ubuntu only has a second or two delay before the page displays. Which Linux version are you using?

Also I just wanted to throw out some other ways that might work better if anyone has acces to OSes other than Windows. And absolutely, Windows has to work correctly.

GA, I am using an older version, so that could contribute, right now, I am just going to let things lay, I am leaving Tuesday to go fishing and camping and will check back in when I get back, I have spent way to much time in front of a computer screen this last few weeks.... I am a bit pissed I didn't realize the race was on last night instead of today, so it is time to get some fishing in!

Painfully slow tonight on my Windows PC.

EDIT: Even though my account setting is correct, I noticed that the time stamp is off by an hour.

Just checked, No delay on my Acer Chrome book either! Why is it so slow on my desktop, or laptop, even when using Chrome there? Home page is different too, "Todays Topics" is on there too, and on the top left? I just need my bi-focals to read all this :D

It's not the browser, its the OS or platform. Windows based PCs, no matter what browser, are slow to load pages. Linux, Android, IOS are speed demons compared to Windows, which a tortise.
