Strange catch

My 7 year-old nephew caught a Detroit Tigers baseball cap last Saturday, on a 1/8 oz chartreuse roadrunner in the edge of a weed-bed in 4 feet of water.<br /><br />Funny thing, it was folded over with the bill tucked into the size-adjuster-strap thingy, and filled with rocks. My first thought was it must be evidence in a crime, but on second thought, you don't really need a good excuse to sink a Tigers cap!

Geez, and to think I fished all day for Tigers Caps & never caught a one. <br /><br /><br />Talk about a "strange catch" <br />I got this little guy on a fish-n-spin spinner (like a beetle-spin)<br />I never would of thunk a cat would bite a spinner bait. <br />Boy was this guy mad too. <br />Fun to catch on ultra light gear. <br />

If anyone below the 205 bridge on the Columbia River catches a Wahkiakum H.S. "Mules" cap yesterday, it's mine... <br /><br />Dang wind....and it was my lucky fishing hat...

If anybody finds a green wide brim vented hat floating on the river somewhere below Island Lake its mine. <br /><br />I lost it soemwhere today, and Island was as far up river as I made fished today.<br /><br />There is an expired one day California Sportfishing license pinned to it from back in July.

If anybody finds a green wide brim vented hat floating on the river somewhere below Island Lake its mine. <br /><br />I lost it soemwhere today, and Island was as far up river as I made fished today.<br /><br />There is an expired one day California Sportfishing license pinned to it from back in July.

The wife and I were fishing off a pier last year. She reeled in and hung up on something then her line let go. There was hair on her hook. Same thing happened a few moments later. She still thinks theres a body in the warer.

Hooked a kayaker's helmet in the upper Delaware once. Put up a darn good fight too. Now use it when I go biking.<br /><br />IH
