I hope everyone isn't too busy on the water to read this post but if you are that you are enjoying as great a season as we are.

We own a 1981 Cruisers Inc. Veesport. The boat is equipped with an alcohol/electric stove. The name on the stove label is "Optimus Princess".

We haven't used the stove yet because we don't have any information on it. If anyone is familiar with this make and type of stove I would appreciate any hearing from you particulalry about the alcohol burner and its safe operation, including refueling.

Thanx.

Re: stoves

This brand is well proven. Holds all certifications and really are extremely safe when used according to instructions.

The sites mentioned should provide all info needed, incl. dealers worldwide.

This type of burners are preferred by many over propane simply for the safety.
