I've got a few days off work to go fishing and what do the fishing gods throw up at me? Bloody rain, thunder, hail, winds over 80+kmph (gusts). x3 days now and I've got x2 more off. I guess there's a silver lining as I bought a bueat rod the other day (on another post). My wife and I have enjoyed a few days of each others company. Goodness knows we needed that. She's a wee sweetie my wife. She wakes up, looks outdoors, sees the weather then says I should go fishing today!<br />Never mind, back to work soon and then I can start fantasising about the winter snapper again. This year is going to be a bueat!<br />Ross

rain, whats that? i'll send word to the fish gods that we have not actually met and they should not punish you, but instead send the rain my way. better yet i should'nt be mentioning your name and mine in the same sentance to the fish gods, they might get some ideas and youd blame me for it. in fact i'd run out side to the alter of sacrifice and burn a spool of fishen line and a cup of fish scales right now just for reading this, better safe than sorry. my wife is a saint! only someone blessed by god could put up with my crap for thirteen years. <br />derwood

Hey Derwood,<br />things are looking up. First I made a great purchase the other day. Today after writing about the foul wheather I found a reel that I though I'd lost a couple of years ago - a GXB80 baitcaster - then to top it all off I discover I'd accidently purchased 20,000km of road user tax for my diesel. I think your gods like me sport. Perhaps these southern hemisphere gods are OK after all.<br />Ross

Still a "Gale Warning" in place - This fisherman is going house crazy. I've cleaned every bit of my boat, tackle and garage. The house necer looked so good.
