Nothing like TN and southern states, but flooding, a mud slide that closed a road near the house, trees down, now blowing and snowing, near white-out conditions. CRAZY!

At least around here winters pretty predictable, it gets cold, it snows it melts.
(Kinda boring actually)

It was short, but nasty...small limbs down and lots of unsecured stuff blown all over the place. I actually thought a tornado was coming. Wife's car was topped with a tree limb...small dent, lots of scratches.

Thanks for thinking of us rbh

Not much news about it here in the Nashville area. Sounds like the bigger stuff happened off to our east, but even from that side of the state there's not much to tell.

We had about 3 tornadoes within about 10 miles of my place, but nothing over an F2 (that I've heard).

Lost a couple of shingles, but I didn't even wake up for the tornado sirens

Thanks for checkin' on us!

I'm situated where I can hear my town's sirens as well as those of the town whose city limits are 100 yards from my door. Theirs sound very different from ours. Kinda creepy to hear them simultaneously, but I digress. The storm caused my canoe to spawn another canoe. The real damage will occur when the admiral discovers it.

On Long Island, we had 75mph wind gusts and flooding rains overnight. 30.000 homes with no power this morning and lotsa closed roads. Lost another fence panel this morning. Lately I am giving them away every few weeks.

Northwest Ga got hit hard but the storm was significantly diminished by the time it got to Augusta. We really need the rain but could do without the severe weather. There was a bout 1.25 inches in my rain gauge and a bunch of pine cones and small branches down in my yard and a few trees blown over in the area but nothing too bad.
