Any recommendations on who to store the new dink we will be buying (inflatible or Walker Bay) in a vertical position on the swim platform. We do not want to tow or use davits. Thank you, Faith

Faith, how large a boat and what size dink? I have tied an 8 foot dink across the swim platform of my 21 ft runabout. not standing on its transom, but length wise, on the gunnell...seemed to work well for me, it does get in the way but I only do it occasionally, not all the time.. :D

It won't hurt the dink. We see this all the time in Florida...stored on beam ends or transom down.

Hi our boat is a sailboat, a Freedom 35, We've measured inside the edged of the sugar scoop and we have 8', just. We've heard of Weaver davits but wonder if, with good line attachment to cleats, we don't even need such a system. Thank you

Nice Boat! You said you wanted to "store" the dink. Does that mean just at the dock or while underway also.. I guess you could lash it down real good while sailing, but I think it could become a hazard in rough weather, I never had a sailboat big enough for that problem.. :D :D mine is a 27ft Oday..no options but a painter...

Flashback, By store I meant keep out of the water underway AND at the dock. Thanks for your input
