Storing an outboard engine

How do you store an outboard engine?<br />We have just purchased our first boat- <br />a Yamaha inflatable with a 4hp engine.<br />We are totally new to this and haven't a clue<br />about storing the engine in the garage whilst not in use. We are not talking winter storage just how on earth do you hold it up??????????

You can buy or make a stand. Wheeled stands are available (I have one); it's a motor board, aluminum frame with wheels on the bottom to roll around.

The stands with the wheel are very nice, however, if you just want a cheap stand you can make one that resembles a saw horse, just a bit taller.<br /><br />Trp251
