Live in Eastern Okla in the Lake Tenkiller area and have asked for years if anyone had any tips for storing the bimini and keeping the mud daubers out. Those things seem to get in everyones top, and then stains the cloth big time. I was thinking of maybe putting a moth ball or 2 inside my cover to repell those suckers, Always a mess in the springtime when you first open it. Any suggestions?

Mothballs stuck here and there should keep 'em out!...critters hate the smell...folks around here even throw mothballs around the outside of their house to keep snakes away! Maybe??? I've also heard folks spraying Listerine to keep away mosquitoes...might spray your bimini with that!....Mothballs AND Listerine!...maybe?

Yes mothballs are great! Unless of course you're the donor moth ...

But seriously they do work well to repel wasps'n mud daubers'n yellow jackets'n such. And yup alotta people use them around pool cages to keep snakes'n frogs'n lizards out.

Dunno 'bout listerine but at least the critters would have fresh minty breath ...?
