Still Problems with Logging In and Staying Logged In

I seldom bother to come to iboats anymore. It's been months now, and I still usually give up trying to log in after the 4th or so attempt. Today I was determined to get on, so logged in six times before I was finally signed in. Forget about leaving the forum to get messages or view/change my profile- I'm logged out again as soon as I change pages. And yes, I always check off the 'remember me' box when I attempt to log on.

as far as getting logged off, probably something in your browser settings.

Sounds like your browser doesn't keep cookies for to long. May want to check out your settings. The remember me box has to be checked.

From my desktop, laptop or phone, I don't get logged out unless I deliberately log out. Even if you haven't made any changes to your browser, I've noticed a lot of Firefox & IE updates lately that tweak what I had setup. Occasionally I have to go back & reset some of my settings. What platform & browser JoLin? Mac/MS/Lynix

I've been logged out roughly 3 times since the changeover (auto-logged out) and had assumed it was something to do with maintenance. But logging in has been no real trouble.

What error are you getting when you attempt to log-in? And what are you using - Windows, Mac, browser, iPhone, etc.? Some errors are platform specific. Sorry for all the grief, JoLin.

Answering these questions will help us solve the issue, if there is one. Thanks guys.

The IT guys are still constantly making changes to database, and things on the back-end. It is very possible that something was changed with the cookie id, or saved info in the db.
