well jay if you want instant results then take it to a shop and pay for it, you have had several responses from people who know a lot about merc motors, take a step back and actually check things, your missing some thing, if a motor has compression spark and timing it runs
i start trouble shooting by seeing if the plugs spark when cranked, then put a bit of fuel mix directly in the cylinder and then crank, if it dosnt fire then its in the timing
