still no tach.???

79' evinrude 55hp. tried to hook up tach. but wouldn't work?? thought rectifier was bad.. so replaced it.... still no tach.?????? any ideas??? thanks, Alex.....

If your tach is Teleflex, here's how it wires in. Set the selector switch on the back on "6". Teleflex Wiring <br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty

HOOTY, I TRIED EVERY POSITION! BUT NOTHING WORKS?? MAYBE STATER OR POWER PACK????? DON'T KNOW ??GONNA TAVE TO TAKE TO THE SHOP, I GUESS........
