Still issues with base timing TB5 Chevy v8

I know I am supposed to ground the purple/white wire coming out of the DCM for base timing setting but tracing that purple/white wire only goes back to my main wire bundle. Maybe I am not seeing something in the bundle justifying this procedure? Is there a capacitor the wire goes to inside the bundle I am not seeing? Does it rout back to the DCM? My SELOC manual is not clear.

It goes back to the module. Ditch the seloc and get a factory manul or look up the wiring digram you will see this

Thanks, but Seloc wiring going back to module didn't make any sense, at least to me. Must be some sort of feedback loop in the wiring bundle. Thanks again!!!
