Still got click sound....

I have replaced the solenoid on my 64' Super Seahorse 80'. Figured that may be the problem but it still has a single click when you turn the key over. I have tried jumping the battery off with the key turned over and it still clicks. Any help would be appreciative. Thanks.

You got some advice in your previous post here <br /><br />What happens is you connects the big wire IN on the solenoid with the big wire OUT , does the motor spin ? ( if motor spins > condition = bad solenoid )<br />Find a light bulb , solder 2 wires on it ( + and - ).<br /><br />Then use this device to check every wire on the starter circuit , 1 one wire on each end of the wire you want to test ( turn the key), if you get light > check connecting on that wire ,maybe replace it . <br /> <br />Light = bad wire .<br />See schematic : ( not your engine ,but close ) .<br /><br />
