Hi all and Don . Went down to yard the other day and managed to get the throttle free so that I could throttle while cranking, no problem, it was corroded, you where right Don. While I was pumping and cranking at same time all the fuel vapour was pumping back out of the carb but would spurt into life for only 1 second then just carry on puffing out of carb. Friends at yard also think valves but a new head was fitted last year and no problems starting till I put it away for winter. Would be very grateful If light can be thrown on this. I have got good spark, clean fuel, have cleaned through carb, strong battery and nothing has been altered since it was last running( 3months ago)
