I have a 1977 70hp Evinreude. The trim-tilt switch on the the throttle sometimes sticks. What kind of lube or spray would you suggest using?

I would use only electrical contact cleaner if you plan on dissasembling it to clean it up. Oil may tend to attract dirt which could foul up the contacts again...

Depending on what type of connection , you have at switch.
If theres any exposed screws , ring, etc.
After clean-up , coat whole thing with Liquid elect. tape.
I use, 3-M, its brown /clear , . I like it because it peels right off , if necessary.
Usually I'll put at least 3 coats on almost every connection.
ie: engine grounds, coil to head, starter lugs, solenoid , trolling motor foot control conn., all battery connections, etc. etc.

Good-Luck, :)
KYHunter
