Steury boats HELP!!!!!!

My husband and I are kinda looking for a boat A man at his work is selling a Steury. I think it is a tri-hull. (I don't know much about boats). The bow has two seats that face the back of the boat. Does anyone know anything about these boats? He said it is a 1976 or 1978. Sorry I don't have a picture but will go take one and attach it.

What motor is on or in it is a HECK of a lot more important than the kind of boat. Steury made good fiberglass boats but after 30 years it's all about how it was maintained. Rot in the wooden components of the hull will be your biggest concern. What information are you looking for?

I have a '72 steury and the wood rotted underneath the fiberglass floor resulting in a cracked floor. Had to replace floor. Pictures would be nice to see because I've only seen a few of these around.

I owned a Steury tri hull equipped with an 85 Johnson. It was a bit tight on space but a very well made boat. I had to replace the deck (floor) due to soft spots.

It was a fast boat, great for water skiing and family stuff....... the down side is the tri-hull rides very rough in anything but smooth water conditions.
