Stereo Noise Filter

I am hooking up a 500 watt amp to a deep cycle trolling batteries. I was told to add a filter to avoid noise esp when the trolling motor is in use. Does anyone have experience with this?

Any noise generating device such as a trolling motor can induce noise into the audio system. But before you get all worked up over it, try it first. You didn't mention what trolling motor you have. Some are just noisier than others.
