1994 18'bayliner Capri bowrider w/ 120 HP Outboard - approx. how much does it weigh with a trailer?

Ball park would be great, they don't list it on the BL site.

What JB said. Plus add another 500 for fuel, snacks, gear, refreshments, etc. Boats NEVER get lighter.

Dang she's lighter than I thought! You have just won a complementary pat on the back for a job well done! I love the fountain of knowledge that is iboats.

A good piece of information for you... go to NADAGUIDES.com. Look at used boat values and it will list the empty weight. It also gives the weight of outboards too.

Methinks these guesses are a bit shy of reality. I was gonna suggest NADA, but Bob beat me to it. And you said WITH the trailer...That adds several hundred.

So here's what's on NADA depending on your exact model....1,800 for boat, 350 for motor, plus I'd guess the trailer would be a good 400-ish. So I'd have to guess it'd be closer to 2,500 lbs empty and dry. Plus fuel/oil (approx 9 lbs per gallon?), gear, batteries (60lbs each?), tools, equipment, blah, blah, blah. Plus it's a Bayliner, so we all know it's sucked about 200 lbs of extra water into it's rotting wood, right? (He he....jk...many here just luv those Bayliner digs, so I had to take the opportunity!)

If you're wanting to know for vehicle towing capacity, I'd call it 3,000 so that way you'd have some margin of error to work with.

I can tell you for sure without the tank or floor the boat hull trailer and motor are 1500 LBS weights. But after the real stuff is added about 2200. I will weigh mine again and see. I am getting close to finish.

I went through this a few years back. My boat is a 18 .5 ft renken bow rider with a 140hp i/o, & single axel caulkins trailer w/14" tires.
Trailer = 600#
Boat + Trailer = 3001#
Weighed on a certified state scale.
Hope this helps.

Jackrg

The only way to know is to take it to a scale and get the weight. Put in some gear, fuel, even coolers and stuff. The weight can vary from boat to boat of the same size and manufacture.

I have a 1999 Searay 18' with 115 Mercury outboard, 35 gallon gas tank and galvanized trailer. Full with gas, two anchors, two batteries, two props, one small tool box and one small cooler of ice, I come up with 2780 at public scale.
