What type of steering unit do I need for my Mercury 402 on a 16ft Starcraft. The boat had a steering unit but it has been pulled out. How do I replace this?<br /><br />Ed
Emnick,<br /><br />The no feedback system is nice, but I think it might be an overkill for a 40 hp. engine.<br /><br />Go to this site: www.westmarine.com<br /><br />Look in the steering section. They give detailed information on how to measure for a cable, etc.
