I have a 98 90 hp force, the retaining in the lower yoke has popped out and i cannot find anything in the clymer about it, all i can find is a diagram online but it is not clear on where the ring is supposed to go.....or how far up in the yoke it has to go. with the motor trimmed up i can move it up and down on the pin. The pin is splined as well as the yoke i m just curious if the pin is supposed to sit on the ring inside the yoke. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanx in advance
