What are the most common reasons the boat drifts 5 degrees port and starboard at low speeds?

It's a rack n pinion steering.

Checked the outdrive on trailer and don't feel any play. The steering linkage was supposedly adjusted when serviced 3 weeks ago.

Any suggestions appreciated.

What tommays and Bondo said along with:

Smaller and many helm corrections help, also being patient as the bow will come around more than you think hence the suggestion for smaller corrections . . . Any type of trim tabs in the full down position make a pretty noticeable difference.

My 19 ft. was BRUTAL to steer thru the marina. The admiral would'nt even attempt it! I learned how to compensate for it but that didn't make it any more fun! Put on a set of Smart Tabs and it's amazing the difference they made.

Far and away the best $125.00 I've ever spent on the boat.8)
