I have a 2001 Kawasaki 1100stx di. The charging system is not working. I have to charge the battery before each use. My voltmeter reads 12 volts while the engine runs. Before investing in a new stator repair, is there any other cause I should check first? Is it worth repairing the stator, or just keep recharging the battery?
