Seem to not be getting any spark at my plugs on my '89 Johnson GT100. Plug wires are good but not getting power to coil, so checked from power pack and not getting any readings there either, so I figure stator is the next place to check. How does one go about checking the output to the power pack from the stator w/a multimeter, or am I missing a step? Thanks in advance. Chevis

To: petryshyn - Q: What is my lanyard cord and how do I know if it's in place? If you are refering to a kill switch, the current ignition system does not have one (I plan to change ignition and include kill switch shortly as porcelain in the key switch is starting to deteriorate).

To: basspirate - I'm looking over the links you provided, thanks. Will update with what I find.
