Hi guys,<br /><br />I did a ohm reading of the stator the other day, and it came up with nothing at all, I also checked for ground and that was fine. <br /><br />The stator has 6 wires in total, which 4 are going to the switchbox and 2 wires to the rectifier, the 4 wires are coloured as red,red/white,blue,blue/white. The 2 other wires are yellow,yellow/red.<br /><br />Could the stator be totally knackered or is there another reason. Also I've been told that I need a conversion kit that goes with the stator kit, why is this.
