Re: stator help
Hi,
It would help to know two things: The serial number of your engine and the part number from your existing stator.
I went and looked at dougrussell.com and I thought it was going to be easy, but none of the 70HP Force engines listed the number you give for the regulator. Still; someone might have swapped out the regulator at some time and maybe the number that you're getting from it isn't the original number?
I'd say that CDI part #174-8778K 1 is probably going to be the one;it seems to be compatible with a whole slew of Force Stators.... but you'd better check with them using your engine's serial number or existing stator number
