starting problems

Hello,
My merc 1974 115hp 1150 suddenly will not fire. I had it running saturday for a few minutes, and nothing since then. It is getting fuel but I think it is a no spark issue. I sprayed some starter assist fluid in the engine and still nothing. That allways helps when it has been a while due to the notorious cold starting problems this engine has. Where should I start to look for my problem? Thanks to everybody for your reply.

If it wont fire with starting fluid probably no spark. Most likely spark controll box, but could be coil. Check for power to control box.
