Starting a 92 wave runner out of water???

is there a way to start a 92 yamaha waverunner out of the water with a hose or anything like you can do with a outboard?? i just bought a used ski and would like to start the engine so i can make sure it runs good before i dunk it in the lake<br /> Thanks

Just purchase a Flush kit and install it then you can hook up the hose and start it. Never run the sKi for any longer than about 30 seconds without water going thru it.<br /> <br /><br />Kits can be purchased at most marine or watercraft dealers. Or Barts watersports on line.

Easiest way to do this is take the black hose that goes to the hull in the rear(stern) (on the inside obviously) directly above the jet unscrew the hose clamp and pull it off this is the for the cooling water notake your hose you will need the old straight type of nozzle they will fit right into the hose with a little twisting. Clamp the hose now turn the hose on and wait for the water to come out of the nozzles that shoot the water up behind the seat.
