Starter????

I think that I need a new starter I have a '95 Fourwinns 190 Horizon with an OMC 302 Ford V8 (190 horse power, carb). Can any one tell me what starter I need, and where is a good place to get one online, both good price, and service.<br />Thanks,<br />Brad

Just pull the old one and have it rebuilt by an automotive shop. Make sure you tell them it is for marine use and they will replace the spark arresting shield too.<br /><br />Most quality rebuilders can do the rebuild with no problems and it is cheaper than a replacement.<br /><br />Bob

E-BAY check their feedback B-4 you bid. I got one from a dealer/remanufacturer. The starter has worked fine for me. Looks like good workmanship.
