Just got the boat. Was running it in a bucket when the starter wire came loose and grounded out on the block. Have no spark now at all and not sure where to start or what probably fried. Any help would be great.

Checked both fuses. Neither blew. Have read that the power pack has diodes in them, so I assume reverse current probably blew them out.

Test rectifier / voltage regulator.----Test ignition key kill circuit.----Test stator windings.---Test sensor coils ( no need to remove flywheel ) as well.----If good replace power pack.

Tested it all yesterday, seems all is good. Ordered a new CDI Electronics power pack. Hopefully it's a good reliable company. We'll see right! Thanks for the information, it is greatly appreciated!
