Starter Solenoid

I have starter solenoid on starter and slave solenoid on transom. why both when i can turn motor over without one on transom hooked up..

Ayuh,... It saves the Keyswitch having to carry the amperes... Without the slave solenoid, expect to replace it...

Thank you for quick response bond-o.. I have the new one installed just needed to know why they did that..
