Could someone please tell me where the starter slave solenoid is located on a 2013 Mercruiser 3.0 MPI? SN# 2A047409 Please tell me it is not on the backside of the metal bracket, just above the starter? If so, how does one access it?

Thanks

I've been hunting high and low and still can't seem to find it. Even changing the spark plugs on this engine would be a pain in the A$$!

Follow the yellow with red stripe wiring from the starter.

Looking at the parts catalog things don't add up, so my guess is there are more prats then listed. Merc started going away from the older slave relay and just using the smaller square plastic ones.

The parts catalog shows only one of this type relay, but being an MPI it would require more then one. As Scott said, follow the yel/red wire from the starter

Already tried that. There are just too many other things in the way to do so. Tried to upload a photo, but it won't let me.

There are 3 black cube relays on the starboard side of the engine, near the main wiring harness. Are you suggesting one of them could be the starter relay? Still can't post a picture. Thanks.
