The bearing or bushings on the starter are work and shaft is a bit wobbly making it stick on the flywheel occasionally at start. I'm pulling it off to take to a rebuild shop to see if they might fix it. But, in the event they can't, I looked up the part number for a pre 2002 Nissan NS40C (Mine's an '88) and found 346-76010-0. Googling that number I got several hits, but their application chart said it was for post 2002 and noted some cross-references, one of which was S108-98, which BTW is the one (Hitachi) on my motor. Maybe it was OEM.
