Starter on 2004 Johnson 140hp won't engage

When trying to start the motor at the beginning of the season, I get only a clicking noise per the short video clip attached. I disconnect the battery during the offseason, but keep it charged with a battery tender. Eventually while at the boat ramp, the starter will engage and the motor will start fine the rest of the season. However, I'm afraid at some point my luck will run out and it will not start.

Think I would have the battery tested on that one, incl. load testing Sandpaper all connections as standard maintenance.

The starter on that SUZUKI built motor is only about $900 US so best to get the battery load tested first..
