Starter motor manufacturers

I shopping around for an aftermarket starter motor for my 1980 inline 6 and I see there are many different options/prices out there.

Are they all pretty much built the same? EMS Global sells one for $73 and wondering if I would be making a big mistake buying solely based on price.

Heck its worth a try as a Mercury bendix is about $40(1/2 price of starter) I only use OEM or MES products...

ebay is a good place to look for a used one
